Situations We Respond To

If water is where it shouldn't be โ€” or isn't where it should be โ€” call us immediately. These are the emergencies we respond to around the clock.

๐Ÿ’ฅ
Burst or Leaking Pipe
A burst pipe can release hundreds of gallons per hour. Shut your main water valve and call us immediately. We locate and repair the break fast.
๐Ÿšฝ
Sewage Backup
Raw sewage backing up into your home is a health emergency. We clear the blockage, locate the cause, and get your drains flowing safely.
๐ŸŒŠ
Flooding
Water intrusion from a failed line, overflowing fixture, or backed-up drain needs immediate attention to prevent structural damage and mold.
๐Ÿ”ฅ
No Hot Water
A failed water heater โ€” especially with a gas leak component โ€” needs immediate attention. We repair or replace on an emergency basis.
๐Ÿ’ง
Active Slab Leak
Water pooling on your floor or a rapidly rising water bill with no visible source may indicate an active slab leak requiring emergency detection.
โ›ฝ
Gas Leak
If you smell gas, evacuate and call SoCalGas first, then call us. We handle gas line emergencies once the area is safe.

While You Wait โ€”
Immediate Steps

These steps can significantly reduce damage before we arrive.

01
Shut the Water Off
Find your main water shutoff valve and turn it off immediately. In most LA homes it's near the water meter at the street or on the side of the house.
02
Turn Off the Water Heater
If you've shut off the main water supply, turn off your water heater to prevent it from heating an empty tank and damaging the unit.
03
Document the Damage
Take photos and video of all visible damage before cleanup. This is essential for homeowner's insurance claims.
04
Call Us
Call (818) 350-3549. We'll ask a few quick questions, dispatch a licensed plumber, and give you an ETA.
05
Begin Cleanup
Use towels, mops, or a wet-dry vac to remove standing water. The faster water is removed, the less chance of mold and structural damage.

Emergency Plumbing FAQ

What to know when you're dealing with a plumbing emergency in LA.

We aim to respond to emergency calls in the San Fernando Valley and Greater LA as quickly as possible. Response times vary by time of day and current dispatch volume โ€” call (818) 350-3549 and we'll give you a realistic ETA immediately.
Emergency and after-hours calls may be priced differently than standard daytime service calls. We're always upfront about pricing before dispatching โ€” you'll know the rate before we come out.
In most LA homes, the main shutoff is at the street near your water meter (usually in a concrete box with a metal lid). There's also often a shutoff on the house side of the meter. Some homes have an additional shutoff in the garage. If you're not sure, call us and we'll walk you through it.
Reach behind the toilet and turn the shutoff valve clockwise to stop water flow to that toilet. If the floor drain is also backing up, shut the main water valve. Call us โ€” simultaneous fixture backup usually means a mainline blockage.
It depends on the cause. Sudden, accidental water damage (burst pipe, fixture failure) is typically covered. Gradual leaks or maintenance issues typically are not. Document all damage thoroughly and call your insurance company after you've addressed the immediate emergency.
